Welcome
Henley Day Nursery welcomes children from 2 through their pre-school years. In time, we are planning to accept children from 3 months of age, subject to obtaining the necessary approvals from Ofsted.
The nursery is located in the picturesque town of Henley-on-Thames in a beautiful Victorian building which has been at the centre of quality education for over 100 years. We are very close to both the railway station, the River Thames and commuting routes to Reading, Maidenhead and beyond.
Our wonderful outdoor learning environment, specialist facilities such as a large sports hall and our proximity to the town, allows us to provide a wide range of experiences for our children and really be part of the community in Henley. Some of the onsite activities and facilities will include an indoor sports room, sensory room, library, cookery and art room, giving us an unrivalled experience in the area.
As well as our own incredible facilities we are in the enviable position of being able to partner with Rupert House School in Henley, in shared use of their Forest School alongside specialist teaching in Art, PE and Languages. This partnership allows Henley Day Nursery to stand at the forefront of Nursery provision in the local area and beyond. Henley Day Nursery, is part of the wider Wishford Nurseries group, benefiting from educational governance and central support.
Wishford Education is a leading provider of independent education in the UK, providing high quality learning and outstanding opportunities.
Our nursery currently has two rooms, our Riverbank Room, which is home to our children aged from 2-3 years and our Otters Pre-school Room, home to our children aged 3 and 4 years. Both rooms provide a welcoming, home from home environment, allowing the children to learn, grow and thrive supported by an experienced team of professionals.
In the near future we are looking to extend out provision to include babies into our Nest Room.
By putting the child at the heart of everything we do, we are committed to providing a nurturing inclusive environment in which all children can learn and thrive.
